Sept 23, 2023
Creston-Kootenay Lake Gran Fondo.
Choose from one of four routes.
The start of the 2023 ride will be from the WIlfred Jacob's Building located on the lands of the Lower Kootenay Band at the corner of Mallory Rd and Hwy 21.
Unfortunately we have not been able to obtain access to all parts of the off-road(gravel) course we had planned. In it's place we are offering a ride that is shorter ~42.7km, 70% on pavement and 30% on gravel. Our introductory pricing is $50(no t-shirt). Once the design of the t-short is finalized we will offer them for sale on the registration site.
All the riders are a little longer due to the change in starting location with at least 100m less vertical rise and without the steep hills at the very beginning and very end that were a bit problematic. As well the ride is now along roads that generally have very little traffic.
Gran Fondo - 164 km ride with stunning views of Kootenay Lake, snow capped mountains, bucolic farm country and a long hill climb, all of which will take your breath away!

Piccolo Fondo - 61.7km ride with stunning views of Kootenay Lake and snow capped mountains.
