What is a Medio Fondo? Generally a ride of moderate length and difficulty between that of a short ride and a Gran ride. Typical distances are around 100km but varies a lot depending on the actual format of the event. Typically takes from 4-6 hours to complete.

Medio Fondo - 104.8 km out and back ride through the farmlands of the Creston Valley, to the south end of Kootenay Laker and then onward to the Boswell Boat Launch. The first and last 13km of the ride are flat with the rest being mostly rolling hills(except those that aren't).  Total vertical rise is slightly more than 900m. This is a gorgeous ride at any time of the year but particularly great in the fall when dressed in fall colours and great riding temperatures.
